There is something infinitely more satisfying when you create something with your own two hands as opposed to something totally digital. While digital creations are satisfactory in their own right, nothing gets the endorphin pumping like molding a piece with your bare hands. Perhaps this is why stop motion animation is considered an art form.
Vera Van Wolferen, a visual artist hailing from the Netherlands, made these quirky sculptures, bringing to mind something out of a Tim Burton movie. Note the detail in the handiwork and the surreal arrangement of the pieces.
